1. Introduction

Go Agent ("Go Agent", "we", "our", or "the App") is a Shopify application that helps merchants create, manage, and optimize AI-powered product knowledge, product descriptions, FAQs, and other product information for their online stores. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to merchants who install and use Go Agent. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

When you install Go Agent, you authorize the App through Shopify's OAuth flow with the following access scopes: read_products, write_products, and read_themes. Through this authorization we may access:

• Store and merchant information — your shop domain, store email address, store name, plan, and configuration provided by Shopify.
• Product data — product titles, descriptions, options, variants, images, and related product content, which we read and may update to deliver the App's features.
• Theme data — read-only access to theme content required to render App features (such as storefront blocks) on your online store.

Go Agent does not require access to, and does not store, your customers' personal information (such as names, addresses, or payment details) for its core functionality.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above solely to:

• Generate, enhance, and manage AI product knowledge and product descriptions within your store.
• Power storefront features such as product question-and-answer and FAQ content.
• Synchronize and update product content in your Shopify store at your request.
• Provide technical support and improve the App's reliability.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We limit sharing of your information to the following cases:

• Shopify — data is exchanged with Shopify through its official APIs to perform the functions you initiate.
• Third-party AI service providers — product content may be processed by trusted AI/large language model providers strictly to generate the content you request. These providers are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose.
• Legal authorities — where we are required to do so by applicable law or valid legal process.

5. Data Retention

We retain store and merchant information, along with any generated content and authentication tokens, only for as long as it is needed to provide the App's functionality and while your store has the App installed.

6. Data Deletion

You can remove your data at any time by uninstalling Go Agent from your Shopify admin. In accordance with Shopify's requirements, the App responds to the following mandatory compliance webhooks:

• customers/data_request — provides any stored data related to a customer upon request.
• customers/redact — deletes stored customer-related data.
• shop/redact — permanently deletes your store's data after the App is uninstalled.

After uninstallation and redaction, your associated data is permanently deleted and is not retained.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and the OAuth 2.0 protocol for authorization. Access tokens are stored securely and used only to perform the functions you authorize.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post the updated policy here. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
